Behavioral Health Crisis/Emergency SituationsIf you or a covered family member is in a life threatening behavioral health crisis, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital. The hospital will contact us through the toll-free number on your CIBH member card, and a licensed professional staff member will assist you. In consultation with hospital staff, the CIBH behavioral health care coordinator will authorize the appropriate level of care.
Depending on your behavioral health benefit plan, it may be necessary to transfer you to a facility in the CIBH behavioral health network.
Eligibility/Getting StartedTo obtain behavioral health and/or substance abuse services you may call oll-free number on your CIBH member card. A CIBH care associate will work with you to select an appropriate mental health or substance abuse provider.
Care for Your Behavioral Health CIBH delivers and coordinates the behavioral health care treatment and supports you need. Some of the common behavioral health needs we address include:

Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And your confidentiality is protected according to federal and state requirements. CIBH Behavioral Health Services Include:
- Outpatient treatments
- Medication management
- Counseling
- Support/advocacy
- Psychiatric Inpatient
- Adult & Geriatric
- Detox
- Coordinating your treatment and services, including hospitalization
- Acting as advocates who monitor your progress with your treating physicians and providers to help coordinate your care
- Providing assistance when you have questions or concerns involving your behavioral health
